Thing-A-Day Day 1: Hammered Silver and Pearl Bracelet by smac

Today I finished a piece I started earlier this year. That still counts as creating something today, right? Besides, I'm not supposed to spend more than 30-45 minutes on these things and this definitely went over that time limit.

Sooo...this year, year of the hammer meets silver wire. Otherwise known as the year my neighbors began to hate me. At least I have a regular bed time, right?

Okay enough excuses. I like banging on wire. It's fun. I'll probably do it again.

Hi! I'm Shelby. I make jewelry. I do other things too. But this blogy thingy (technical term) was created for the Thing-A-Day project (for the month of February 2010) and I will most likely be primarily making and posting jewelry.
When I'm not making jewelry I am terrorizing my cats Rira and Mochi. They deserve it because while I am making jewelry they completely terrorize me (cats plus beads = me crying a lot). I also like reading, writing, sleeping, cuddling with my Pookie (yes we're one of THOSE couples), playing games, watching Netflix (Dr. Who, Bones, House, Dexter...to name a few), ballet, and sometimes knitting. I am addicted to Sudoku and Strategery (iPhone app) but I don't want to quit, I'm just letting you know.
